Fishermen in Bangladesh Face an Uphill Battle Compounded by Climate Change

Fish populations in southeastern Bangladesh are moving farther and farther from the shore due to climate change, say experts. As a result, fishermen are forced to follow, sometimes crossing maritime borders into India where those without passports or visas could face jail time if stopped by customs' authorities. Fishermen’s lives are increasingly at risk from other factors too. Reporter Antara Biswas has the first of this three-part series titled “Life of Bottomless Water.”
