NCEJ opens membership and training for journalists covering environment

The National Council of Environmental Journalists (NCEJ), together with Internews-EU and Earth Journalism Network (EJN), invites applications from potential Pakistani environmental journalists to be the members of NCEJ – one of its kind forum in the country, under the newly launched “Environmental Journalism Taking Root: Building Network and Media Capacity to Cover Environmental Issues” project.

The selected candidate will attend classroom and field training workshops on different environmental issues in cities across Pakistan.
Eligibility: Entry-level as well as experienced journalists from the print, electronic and online media journalists including reporters, cameramen and cartoonists are eligible to apply.
How to Apply: Interested candidates may send their CVs along with 3 samples of their published or broadcasted stories and features on environmental topics latest by March 7, 2014 to [email protected], and type “Application for NCEJ Training Programme” in the subject header.
