Biography

Currently working as a freelance journalist, I have written for both mainstream and independent media over the last 17 years, from major newspapers and magazines to digital-native news outlets. I covered a wide range of cultural, political and social issues, from articles on the UN mission in Haiti (in loco) to interviews with people such as the indigenous leader Davi Kopenawa Yanomami, the Brazilian writer Ariano Suassuna, the musician Paul McCartney and the Brazilian Foreign minister Celso Amorim, among others.

I've worked for or contributed to media such as O Estado de S.Paulo, AOL Brazil, Superinteressante, Bravo!, Exame, Jornal da Tarde, Aventuras na História, Veja São Paulo, Trip, Ocas”, Grandes Guerras, Desafios do Desenvolvimento, VIP, Criativa, Jovem Pan and others.
